Chatting and Tweeting About The Beef Checkoff

In this week’s Checkoff Chat (our new name for our weekly podcast) you’ll hear Dawn Thurnau (left) and Whitney Wallace talk about the change in direction for the MBIC blog which is now called the Missouri Beef Buzz. After seeing how many consumers have been visiting the site a 
decision was made to provide more information about beef that consumers want to know and have been asking for.
You’ll also hear them talk about Twitter and of course you can follow the MBIC here: @BeefCouncil.
Twitter has allowed a direct and quick way for the staff to interact with consumers who have questions too. Here’s an example of a recent tweet:

The MBIC has been a pioneer in the use of this great social media tool when it comes to tweeting about beef.
